Tool home pages
Each tool opens on a home page: new, recent, yours, shared with you, templates and what is linked to your projects.
Opening a tool from the Toolbox lands on its home page. The bands, in order:
- New
- Start blank, or from one of the tool's top templates.
- Recent
- What you opened last in this tool.
- Yours
- What you created, wherever it lives.
- Shared with you
- What someone else made and shared with you, or linked to work you are on.
- Templates
- Built-in templates, plus templates people in your workspace saved.
- Linked to your projects
- Outputs linked to projects you can see.
Each band shows a few rows and a See all. You can search a band and filter it by where things live (a project, the workspace, or just you). An empty band says why it is empty.
Save as template
Anyone who can edit an output can choose Save as template. The template is saved for your workspace and appears in that tool's Templates band for everyone in it. Built-in templates are part of the product and cannot be changed.
The Toolbox appears only where it is switched on for your workspace. Where it is off, every tool stays where it was: project tabs, /app/forms, /app/signatures, /app/wiki and /app/documents work exactly as before.
