Engineering & construction extensions
Offline Sync Protocol, Hard-Dependency Gantt, and RFI Workflows.
The three extensions in the Engineering & Construction preset are for work that happens away from a desk, on a schedule where one slip moves everything.
Offline Sync Protocol
Adds a mobile-first Field tab to a Noot that keeps working with no signal. Edits queue on the device and flush when connectivity returns.
- Replaying the same queue is recognised as a duplicate, not applied twice.
- A stale edit comes back as a surfaced conflict carrying both values and a plain sentence explaining it — never a silent overwrite.

Conflicts are surfaced for a person to resolve. Nothing is auto-merged — on a site, the wrong merge is worse than the question.
Hard-Dependency Gantt
This one has no tab of its own: it changes how the Gantt behaves. Without it, the Gantt flags dependency conflicts and never moves anyone's dates. With it, finish-to-start is enforced.
- An illegal drag is refused or warned about.
- A legal move cascades downstream, preserving each task's duration.
- A scheduled sweep ripples real slips and writes an audit row per move, so every change can be traced to its cause.

The scheduled ripple honours both of those settings. A cascade triggered by dragging a bar currently runs on the extension's defaults rather than your saved settings — worth knowing if you've changed them.
RFI Workflows
Adds an RFIs tab to the Noot and a Related RFIs panel to task detail: a numbered per-project register with attachments, an ordered approval chain and a full lifecycle — submitted → under review → answered → closed — with each RFI linked to the tasks it affects.
