Connecting your mail
Outlook, or any IMAP mailbox including Gmail, in one inbox.
Connect the mailboxes you actually use and Noots converges them into one in-app inbox, so you're not bouncing between tabs. There are two ways in, plus the browser extension for one-off emails.

Google is reviewing our access to read a Gmail mailbox, so we switched the one-click Google sign-in off rather than ask for a permission we're not cleared for yet. Two things still work, and neither needs that permission: connect Gmail as an IMAP mailbox with a Google app password for a full inbox, or use the Noots browser extension to file one email at a time onto a project or a task. A mailbox you connected this way before the pause is kept, along with everything it had already synced.
To connect Gmail over IMAP you need a Google app password rather than your normal password - Google requires one for any mail app, and you generate it in your Google Account under Security → 2-Step Verification → App passwords. Pick the Gmail preset in Noots and the host and port are already filled in.
For a generic IMAP mailbox, open Server settings to enter the IMAP and SMTP host and port. The connect button tests the connection before saving it.
Folders
The rail is Inbox, Drafts, Sent, Archive and Trash, plus All accounts, Starred, and one row per connected mailbox. Add more mailboxes any time with Connect another mailbox; each can be disconnected on its own.
Scheduled send
Compose lets you pick a future send time - the picker won't let you choose a time that's already gone. Queued mail goes out on a two-minute sweep.
Sending problems? See Troubleshooting → Email isn't sending. Connections can also simply expire - reconnect the account and grant the requested access.
