Formats, language & your start page
How dates and times are written for you, and which page the app opens on.
Settings → Formats & language holds the small choices that make the app read the way you do. All of them are personal.

Automatic means Noots writes the date the way your chosen display language ordinarily writes it, rather than imposing a format on top. Every option is previewed against a real date on the screen, so you can see what you're choosing before you save. Changing these affects every timestamp in the app — meetings, due dates, activity, mail.
None of this is your timezone, which is a separate setting on Settings → Profile. Format is how a time is written; timezone is which time it is.
Display language
Ten languages, changed here. It switches the whole interface.
Your start page
By default, opening Noots lands you on the home screen. If you always go somewhere else first, set a start page and the app opens there instead. The choices are the home screen, My work, Noots, Chat, Mail, Meetings, Calendar or Organization.
Whatever you pick, the Noots logo in the navigation always takes you to the command centre. Setting a start page never makes home unreachable.
