Talk to the Noot bot in your meetings
Speak to the bot like a teammate — a few words up front make your notes, tasks and calendar land in the right place.
When the Noot bot is in a meeting or call, don't be afraid to talk to it out loud — everything you say is in the transcript, and Noots uses it to file your notes, tasks, dates and owners correctly. A few seconds of direction at the start of the meeting saves a lot of cleanup after.
Say these out loud
- Which project this is about — e.g. "This is our weekly sync for the *Website Redesign* Noot." Noots files the summary, tasks and documents to the matching project so nothing has to be moved later.
- Who owns what — say the person's name with each action item ("*Priya* will send the contract Friday"). Noots assigns the task to that teammate and pings them.
- Due dates and follow-ups — call them out ("let's aim to ship by *next Thursday*", "we'll meet again *Monday at 10*"). Dates become dated tasks and calendar entries on the right project.
- Risks, plainly — "the vendor contract is a risk to the launch" lands in that project's RAID register attached to the task it threatens.
- Who should get the notes — mention who was there. Teammates in your workspace who took part are added to the meeting in their Vault automatically.
The single most useful thing you can do is name the project and the owners early. Everything Noots files afterward keys off that context.
Only teammates in your organization are auto-added to a meeting's Vault. Guests and people outside your org are never given access.
Does the bot talk back during the meeting?
No — the Noot bot is a silent notetaker. It listens and records; it doesn't speak or interrupt. You're really talking to your future self, who'll read the notes.
What if I forget to say the project up front?
That's fine — Noots reads the whole conversation and still files to the best-matching project. Saying it out loud just makes the match certain.
What if we discuss money?
An amount stated clearly becomes a proposed expense on that project's Budget tab, for a person to confirm. A transcript never moves a budget by itself.
