A matter is the unit of work and the hour is the unit of billing, so both have to be honest. New matters queue for conflict checks before anyone starts, clause and precedent libraries stop the same paragraph being rewritten, and nothing leaves the firm without the sign-off it needs.

Filled chips stay on every project: Overview, Board, Members. Every other tab can be taken off a project, and put back from the same menu.

Default tabs, per workspace
An owner or admin sets the strip every new project starts with, in Org settings under Project tabs. Their set overrides the industry's, and the industry's overrides the standard one.

Tools
Extensions are installed per workspace and switched off on the server, so a tool you remove stops contributing its tab, its task panel and its background job everywhere at once. Anything in the catalogue can be added later, whatever industry you picked.

Removal happens on the server
Switch a tool off and its surfaces stop rendering for everyone, because the server stops serving them, not because a button was hidden. Take a custom tab off a project and its row is deleted with it.
Your own order wins
The industry only decides what you see before you touch anything. Drag the tabs on a project into your own order and that order is kept for that project from then on.
Change your mind later
An owner or admin can switch the workspace to a different industry from inside the product, and the new bundle installs the same way the first one did. The catalogue stays open to every workspace whatever it picked.
