Pausing and stopping an agent
Pause an agent to hold it, or stop it to end its runs and withdraw every suggestion it is waiting on.
- Pause
- The agent stops running until somebody resumes it. Its suggestions waiting for an answer are withdrawn.
- Stop
- The kill switch. In one step the agent stops running and every suggestion and approval it is waiting on is withdrawn, so none of them can be applied afterwards. A stopped agent stays in the list with its full step log.
- Resume
- Starts a paused agent again from its next scheduled run.
Stopping asks you to confirm first. A run already in progress notices at its next step and records that it was stopped.
Changes an agent already made stay made; undo them from the step log if they can be undone.
Note
Agents appear only where they are switched on for your workspace. Where they are off, /app/nooties shows your Nooties exactly as before and Autopilot keeps its three old levels.
