Sponsors: the person an agent answers to
Every agent acts with its sponsor's permissions and never more, checked again at every step.
An agent's sponsor is the person accountable for it. The agent can only do what its sponsor could do: see what the sponsor can see and change what the sponsor may change. This is checked again before every step, not only when the agent is hired.
If the sponsor leaves the workspace, loses the permission a change needs, or can no longer open the record, the agent's next step is refused and the refusal is written in its step log.
Who may change an agent
Hiring an agent needs permission to configure AI for the workspace. Changing an agent's autonomy, limits, delivery or status needs that permission and being its sponsor or able to manage members. The page only offers controls you are allowed to use.
Agents appear only where they are switched on for your workspace. Where they are off, /app/nooties shows your Nooties exactly as before and Autopilot keeps its three old levels.
