The People Ops agent
Keeps time off moving for its sponsor: reminders to approvers, availability nudges, coverage warnings, suggested dates and a weekly summary.
People Ops looks at the time off of the people its sponsor approves (everyone, for somebody who manages members; their team, for a team lead) and at the availability weeks they have not answered.
- Reminders
- A request waiting 2 days or more, or starting within a week, gets a reminder to its approvers.
- Availability nudges
- Somebody who has not answered their availability week for 2 days gets a nudge.
- Coverage warnings
- A team that would be under its coverage minimum 2 to 6 weeks from now, shown only where the team is large enough (5 or more people) or the sponsor approves everyone on it.
- Suggested dates
- For a request that clashes with team coverage, another date with the same working days that the coverage allows, worked out by the same rule as the Conflicts view. Suggesting a date sends the person a suggestion; it never moves their request.
- Weekly summary
- A summary deck of the week's time off in the drafts rail, yours alone until you share it.
- A note to approvers
- A drafted message about requests that are waiting, with counts only. It is not sent until you send it.
Reasons stay private
People Ops never reads the reason, the attachment or the decision note on a request. Sensitive types, such as sick leave, are always called "Time off" in anything it writes, even to an approver.
On the command centre, a request's decision panel names the People Ops agent that covers the person, with a link to its step log.
Agents appear only where they are switched on for your workspace. Where they are off, /app/nooties shows your Nooties exactly as before and Autopilot keeps its three old levels.
