When an agent asks you a question
An agent that needs a fact asks you in the decision box, and your answer can be a number, a date, a choice or a few words.
Sometimes an agent needs something only a person knows, such as how many people will be on call next week or when an audit starts. It asks its sponsor in the decision box, with the right kind of answer:
- A number
- A box for a plain number, like 12 or 3.5. A comma is not accepted, so 3,5 is never read as thirty-five by mistake.
- A date
- A small calendar. Pick a day and send it.
- A choice
- Buttons for the options the agent offers.
- Your own words
- A text box.
An answer of the wrong kind is refused, so a date never lands where a number was asked for. Your answer is written into the agent's step log, linked to its question, and the agent runs again straight away to use it. A paused agent keeps the answer and reads it when it is switched back on.
Nothing happens if you do not answer: silence is never taken as a yes.
Agents appear only where they are switched on for your workspace. Where they are off, /app/nooties shows your Nooties exactly as before and Autopilot keeps its three old levels.
