Every tool the project needs, on one tab.
Write a page, build a deck, keep the numbers in a Grid and the files in Files, all on the project they belong to. One launcher finds every tool, and the files you already have open in it.

One place for the work that is not a task.
The documents, decks, spreadsheets and files a project produces live on the project, next to the board they are about, and each one opens full-screen with its own toolbar.
Analyse
Write and present
Collect
Recent and search across every tool, listing only what you can open.
Every tool, grouped by what you are doing
The launcher groups the tools by the job: Analyse for Grids, Tables and Charts; Write and present for Pages, Decks and Notes; Collect for Files, Forms and Signatures. Recent and search run across all of them and list only what you can open.
One Toolbox tab on every project
A project's Grids, Tables, Files, Notes and Forms fold into a single Toolbox tab instead of a row of tabs of their own, and an old link to one of those tabs still lands in the right place.
- PagesWord · PDF · Markdown
- DecksPowerPoint · PDF
- GridsExcel · CSV
- TablesExcel · CSV
A Grid saved to Excel keeps its formulas as formulas.
Office files in and out
Pages opens and saves Word files. Decks opens and saves PowerPoint. Grids and Tables read and write Excel and CSV, and a Grid's formulas stay formulas in the Excel file. Pages, Decks and Notes also export to PDF.
Linked to the work it is about
Link any output to a project, goal, customer, deal, budget or meeting and it appears in that thing's Linked section. A link never lets anybody open something they could not open before.
- A projectEveryone on the project
- The workspaceEvery member
- PersonalOnly you, until you share it
On a project, for everyone, or just for you
Every grid, note, table and deck has one home: a project, the whole workspace, or you alone until you share it with named people to view or to edit. Moving it keeps it the same object, never a copy.
Hoot reads summaries, never whole files
Ask Hoot about a project and it can read short summaries of what is linked to it: a grid's headers and key figures, a deck's slide titles, a note's headings. Only what you can open is summarised.
What is included, and where the line is.
Every new workspace starts on a free trial of the full Business tier, no card needed, and lands on Free when it ends. Prices and limits are on the pricing page.
