Build the deck. Present it in the call itself.

Decks has the editing a presenter expects, and presents inside a Noots call without sharing a screen. Everyone sees sharp slides that follow you, late joiners land on the right slide, and the meeting summary knows what was presented.

  • Presented, not screen shared
  • PowerPoint in and out
  • The summary knows the slide
What it does

Everything from the first slide to the last question.

Design the deck, rehearse it, then present it where the meeting already is, with the record of what was shown kept by the meeting rather than by memory.

01

Animations and motion paths

Build an entrance, emphasis or exit with its duration, delay and direction, move a shape along a line or an arc, and reorder the steps in the animation pane. Exported decks keep their animations in PowerPoint.

02

Rehearse, then let it run

Rehearse a deck to record how long each slide stays up, set any slide to advance on its own, loop it for a kiosk, and keep notes and a timer in presenter view.

03

Present inside a Noots call

Press Present to the call and everyone in it sees the slide drawn on their own screen, following your slide and animation step. Somebody who joins late lands where you are. Your notes stay on your screen.

Presenting never hands out access

Before you start you are told who in the call cannot open the deck. They see a line saying so, not the slides, unless you choose to share it with the call.

05

The meeting knows what was presented

When the call is recorded, the summary is told which slides were shown and when, so a decision taken on slide seven is filed with that slide linked.

From a note to a deck in one step

Ask Hoot to turn a note, a page or a meeting into slides and it builds the deck with varied layouts, a house theme, charts drawn only from numbers in the source, and pictures from a stock library or generated illustrations. Undo takes it all back.

Presenting a deck inside a Noots call

In any Noots call you are in. What was presented is remembered when the call is recorded.

Business and above

A public view-only link

Off by default, per deck, and it can be revoked at any time.

Questions

The ones people ask first.

Is presenting the same as sharing my screen?
No. The slides are drawn on each viewer's screen from the deck itself, so text stays sharp, animations play in step, and nobody sees the rest of your desktop.
Can I open my PowerPoint files?
Yes. Import a PowerPoint file into a new deck, keep its rehearsed timings, and export it again as PowerPoint or PDF when somebody needs the file.
Are the pictures Hoot adds photos of real things?
A picture comes from your own source, from a stock library with an open licence, or is a generated illustration in the deck's colours. A generated picture is never a photo of a real person or a real logo.

Present where the meeting already is.

Start a deck from a note, rehearse it, and present it in your next Noots call.
