While Google reviews inbox access, Noots asks for no Gmail scope at all. Link a single email from the browser extension, or connect Gmail over IMAP; both work today.

AI triage is opt-in, enforced on the server

Sort by importance into Important, To respond, FYI and Newsletter; summarise long threads; surface important mail on your home screen. Nothing runs until you turn it on.

A reply about a time reads the calendar

When an email proposes a time you cannot do, the alternatives come from the same availability engine the calendar uses, so mail and calendar never disagree about when someone is free.

Pick a future time from Compose; the picker refuses a time that has already gone, and queued mail goes out on a two-minute sweep.

Can I connect Gmail?
Over IMAP with an app password, yes, today. The one-click Google connection is paused while Google reviews inbox access, and the Mail screen says so rather than hiding the button.
Does extraction change my board?
It adds proposed tasks and nothing else. It never moves dates, changes statuses or reassigns anything, and a low-signal email can legitimately produce nothing.
Is AI reading my mail by default?
No. Every AI mail feature is off for every person until they turn it on, and the switch is checked on the server before anything is read.
