Are we making money, and where does it go?
Finances gathers income, spend and budgets on one page. Won deals and money agreed in meetings arrive as suggestions, recurring payments are recognised, and a profit and loss statement covers any period you pick.
- Figures from your records
- Every currency kept apart
- Private projects left out
| Line | Jul | Aug | Sep | Quarter |

The money, from the places it is already written down.
Nobody retypes a deal into a spreadsheet. Income and spend come from the CRM, from meetings and from what you enter, and every figure on the page is worked out from those records.
Income from won deals
A won deal with no income source yet is offered on the Income tab, with its cadence read from the deal when it says how often the money comes. One press adds it.
From Tuesday’s call
A monthly retainer of $4,500 from Halden Works
“We will go with the monthly retainer from October.”
Money agreed in a meeting becomes a suggestion
When a meeting agrees a fee, a retainer or a purchase, the meeting updater files it as a finance suggestion for somebody who manages money to accept or dismiss. Nothing is booked on its own.

Its rhythm, recognised
From the dates money arrived or left, Finances recognises weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly payments, says how sure it is, and asks before it sets the cadence.
Profit, month by month, against the period before.
A statement for any period
A month, a quarter, a year, the year so far or your own dates, broken down month by month and compared with the period before. Download it as CSV or save it as a page to edit and send as a PDF.
A health check scored by code
Cash coverage, budget burn, margin against your target and more, each scored from your figures with the reasons beside the score. A dimension with nothing to measure says so instead of turning green.
Ask Hoot for the numbers
Ask Hoot how the quarter went or for last month's profit and loss, and it answers from the same statement, under your own access to the figures.

The ledgers need no plan; seeing them needs the finance permission.
