A Fireflies alternative
that updates your tasks.
A meeting notetaker ends where the hard part begins. Somebody still has to read the summary, decide which lines were commitments, find the right project and type them in. Noots does that step: the action items and decisions from a call land on the board as tasks, owned by the person who said them.
What each one publishes.
Their number is read from their own pricing page, at the tier they badge, on the date printed beside it. Ours is read from the plan table this product enforces.
Fireflies.ai Business
$19
a seat a month, billed annually
US list price, read from Fireflies.ai's own pricing page on 28 August 2026. We price the tier that vendor badges, not the dearest one.
Team
$9
a seat a month, billed annually
Every figure on this card is read from the plan table the product itself enforces, so it cannot disagree with what you are charged. The full matrix is on the pricing page.
These two figures buy different things and this page does not pretend they are the same basket. What Noots includes at that price is listed below, each line with the tier it unlocks at. We publish no claim about what Fireflies.ai does or does not do, because we hold a dated reading of what they charge and not of what they build.
Every line is a surface that ships.
The tier beside each one is read from the plan table at render time, so a capability that moves tier moves on this page in the same change.
Capture, three ways
FreeSend the bot to Zoom, Google Meet or Teams; record inside a Noots call; or use the browser extension, which records the tab with nothing in the participant list at all.
The summary is written for the project, not in general
BusinessThe summariser is given the project the meeting is about: its board, its people and its naming convention. A title arrives in the idiom that board already uses.
Action items become tasks
FreeCommitments reach the board as tasks or as updates to a card that already exists, attributed to the person who made them. This is the step that has no integration in between, because there is nothing to integrate.
An AI that then runs the project
BusinessAutopilot plans the phases, assigns from real capacity, chases status and moves dependent dates inside a horizon you set. It proposes; a person applies.
A per-meeting record of what people were told
FreeEvery capture stores how the room was told it was being recorded, or records plainly that nothing did. See the consent page for exactly what that means.
Figures about the conversation, and an answer to whether it landed
BusinessThe longest unbroken stretch of speech and who took it, how often the floor changed hands, questions asked and pace, all worked out from the transcript with no model involved. Beside them, checks on the meeting itself: were next steps stated, was a decision recorded, does every commitment carry an owner, and does it carry a date.
What Noots does not do.
The counterweight, at full length and not behind a disclosure. If one of these is a deal breaker, it is cheaper for both of us that you read it here.
- The bot joins Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams. Nothing else.
- Conversation figures need a transcript that was split by speaker. A capture that was not, one known to be incomplete, or a meeting rebuilt from live notes after a recording failed produces none of them and says which of those happened.
- Meeting audio is sent to a third-party speech provider to be transcribed and is then discarded. We do not keep the audio file.
- Transcripts are stored in our database as text. We do not claim they are encrypted at rest, because they are not.
- The free tier records eight meetings a month, up to forty minutes each. Unlimited meetings begin on Team.
- There is no automatic logging of a call into HubSpot or Salesforce. Those two integrations exist in the product but cannot connect on this deployment, and the integrations page says so.
